Recipient of the Russian Government Prizes in Science and Technology (2002, 2009, and 2019), the Russian Government Prize in Education (2018), and the V. N. Ipatiev Prize of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2016).

He holds the honorary titles of Honored Petrochemist, Honored Worker of the Fuel and Energy Complex of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, and Honored Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

He is the author of 540 scientific publications, including 9 monographs, 24 textbooks and teaching manuals, 75 inventor’s certificates and patents, and 427 scientific articles. He is also the author of a four-part textbook on petroleum refining technology.

Previously, he served as Vice President of Tyumen Oil Company (TNK), the Swiss company Vitol, and the Dutch company ICD. He also worked as a consultant for the American company Amoco and the catalyst companies Grace Davison and Criterion (USA). For 13 years, he served as General Director of VNIPINeft PJSC.

He has been awarded the Order of Friendship of the Russian Federation and the Order of Friendship of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Under his leadership, several major Russian oil refining facilities were designed and constructed, including the TANECO refinery, the Nizhnevartovsk production association, the catalytic cracking complex at TAIF, and deep oil refining complexes at the Ryazan Oil Refining Company and the Perm Refinery.

Under his academic supervision, 24 Candidate of Sciences dissertations and two Doctor of Sciences dissertations have been successfully defended.
