Abstract. The article provides an informational review of recent research in the field of synthesis and application of oxyalkylates of various classes of organic compounds containing amine groups. In this series, aliphatic, aromatic amines, amine compounds with alicyclic and heterocyclic fragments, as well as amidoamines, alkanolamines, imidazolinamines should be noted. Examples of oxyalkylation with various epoxides — propylene oxide, ethylene oxide, and epichlorohydrin — are also given. Numerous applications of oxyalkylated amine compounds have been reported, including their use as an oil-collecting agent, cement plasticizer, steel corrosion inhibitor, extractant for a number of metal ions, anionic and cationic surfactants, demulsifier of oil emulsions, tire stabilizers, oil-displacing agent to improve oil production.
