Abstract. Based on modern approaches to assessing the thermal-oxidative and thermal stability of motor oils, taking into account the working and operating conditions of stationary gas engines and relying on the test programs of leading OEM manufacturers, major developers of motor oils for stationary gas engines (MM SGD) and additive manufacturers, a complex of laboratory assessment of the thermal oxidative and thermal stability of MM SGD was formed and tested, powered by natural gas. The high efficiency of the selected complex was confirmed during the development of formulations of modern highly effective MM SGD with improved performance properties at the level of reference samples approved by OEM manufacturers.
