Publication Guidelines

Preprints

Manuscripts previously deposited by the authors in an open-access preprint repository may be accepted for consideration, provided that they have not been published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal, are not currently under consideration by another journal, and do not infringe upon the rights of third parties. Upon manuscript submission, authors are required to disclose to the editorial board the name of the repository, the URL, and the deposition date of the preprint. Following the publication of the article, authors must—if permitted by the repository’s policies—add a bibliographic reference and the DOI of the published version to the preprint record.

Author Information

The manuscript and the cover letter must include the full names of all authors, their academic degrees and titles, affiliation (place of work), position, and e-mail address. The ORCID of the corresponding author should be provided if available. All author information must also be provided in English.

For the English spelling of their first and last names, authors must use a single, consistent variant established in their ORCID, Scopus Author ID / Web of Science Researcher Profile, passport, or previously published articles. In the absence of such an established variant, transliteration must be applied in accordance with the rules set forth in the “References” section.
