Abstract. The article presents the results of comparative studies of the dynamic adsorption activity of domestic and foreign industrial adsorbents of zeolite type, silica gels and active aluminum oxides for drying gases in field preparation and processing of natural gas, production of liquefied natural gas (LNG), chemical processing of hydrocarbon and inorganic gases. Methane, nitrogen, helium, and ambient air were used as individual gases. It has been established that in the drying of gases, the studied adsorbents are arranged in the following order in terms of dynamic activity (capacity): zeolite silica gel aluminum oxide. The conducted studies in the drying of gases allowed us to establish that modern Russian adsorbents, compared with foreign ones, have increased dynamic adsorption activity.
Keywords: adsorbents, zeolites, silica gels, aluminum oxide, drying gases, methane, air, nitrogen, helium.
