Abstract. The operation of hazardous production facilities in the oil and gas complex is associated with high risks of accidents, incidents and accidents, including fatal accidents. The aim of the work is to substantiate the need for an integrated approach to improving industrial safety at oil and gas facilities by improving operator training and introducing modern digital training technologies. The work uses the analysis of statistical data, the regulatory framework, as well as a comparative analysis of traditional and innovative methods of personnel training. In the course of the work, the functionality, operating principle and operating modes of modern training complexes for training operators of technological installations were studied. Special attention is paid to the use of new-generation virtual simulators, which are dynamically modeled digital counterparts of technological processes.
