Application of octane-rising additives and dopes at motor gasoline production
Keywords: antiknock characteristic, Hightech 3000, Hightech 3046, Hightech 3062, N-methyl aniline, ММА, methyl cyclopentadienyl tricarbonyl manganese, MCTM, AvtoVEM, BVD, methyl-tert-butyl ether, MTBE.
Raise of detonation resistance of gasoline without tetraethyl lead (TEL) is attained by various ways, one of which is application of ecologically safe metal-containing anti-knock additives not being harmful to neutralizers of exhaust gases of modern cars. Additives on the basis of manganese are applicable in gasolines as an alternative to TEL prohibited in Russia in 2003. They are effective at rather low concentration and have low cost.
Here are presented as an example the physical and chemical, as also anti-knock properties and results of qualification tests to Ai-80 gasoline made with additives ADA-SUPER (N-methyl aniline) + Hightech 3062, this gasoline produced by the Fergana Refinery.

Mathematical modelling of fuel compounding process with antiknock additives
Keywords: mathematical modeling, antiknock value, antiknock additives, intermolecular interactions, finished gasoline, octane number, hydrocarbon composition.
One of the main tasks of refineries is production of quality gasoline that meets standards. The authors described a new approach to calculation of gasoline compounding process by using mathematical modeling. The model takes into account the intermolecular interactions of blending components and influence of antiknock additives on the gasoline antiknock value. Research scientific work was carried out in the framework of the federal target program “Scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel of innovative Russia in 2009–2013”.

Practical work for technical carbon producers. Lean alloy steels for processes of its production
Keywords: technical carbon, sulphides, sulphur in general mechanical rubber goods, brands of austenite/ferrite class steels.
Choice of construction materials for chemical equipment is defined by conditions of its work and first of all by extent of medium aggression as one of major factors for material choice and its use in a specified process.

Oil trap water-oil emulsions: optimisation of demulsifier composition
Keywords: Trap oils, water-oil emulsions, mechanical impurity, aggregate stability, preparation for refining.
In oil preparation and refining processes stable trap water-oil emulsions are formed, 0.5-1.8 %vol. of processed oil. The problem of involving into refining such emulsions being different from traditional ones is rather actual. Absence at refineries of accessible and effective ways of preparation of these emulsions to refining can be explained by an insufficient level of knowledge in the reasons for their abnormal high stability and absence of special demulsifiers, effective in destruction of emulsions with raised mechanical impurities content. The purpose of the present series of papers being a generalisation of long-term works by the author with employees is filling of this white space in the theory of formation and practice of destruction stable high-watery oil emulsions with big mechanical impurities level.
Papers are devoted to:
• research of aggregate stability of trap water-oil emulsions of treatment facilities;
• studying of composition and properties of emulsifying agents gated out from samples of trap emulsions, and mechanical impurities and their influence upon emulsions stability;
• working out process of preparation to refining the trap emulsions with a raised mechanical impurities content;
• working out special demulsifiers.

Studying the electromagnetic compatibility of capacitor installations in electric power supply system of Achinsky NPZ VNK OJSC in higher harmonics occurrence
Keywords: Achinsky NPZ VNK OJSC, electric power supply system, capacitor banks.
At reactive power compensation by means of capacitor installations there is a danger of overloading of capacitor banks due to resonance. In order to avoid it, it is necessary to consider higher harmonics influence upon change of compensating ability of capacitor banks and on work of capacitor installations power automatic steering devices.
